completed PhD at the University
of Melbourne which draws
on Jung’s developmental psychology to consider the interplay between cultural
influences emanating from symbols and myths of Australian national identity and
archetypal forces that shape personality development. Focusing upon culturally
inscribed concepts of gender, the importance of integrating the polarities at
midlife and concerns of the Australian government about the mental health of
ageing Australians, Robyn highlights why midlife Australians and health professionals need to be informed about Jung’s concept of ‘midlife transition’. Her
workshop guides participants through an experiential process using symbols and
metaphor to reflect on the midlife journey. http://www.navigatingmidlife.com/

These books were used as references for the 2012 Psychology of Spirituality retreat in Bali. They are a great way to get started in this field and are highly recommended for those seeking an authentic path toward fullness as well as emptiness. There are books on Jewish psychology, sufi psychology, integral psychology, how to use the breath for combatting anxiety and depression, how to do sleep and dream yoga, teaching guides, and how to identify spiritual bypassing and more... Here's a PDF image out of Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi's PSYCHOLOGY & Kabbalah to give a picture of the hidden worlds which come up in the psycho-spiritual approach to therapy. ![]()
